Linen care

The proper care of our fabrics does not call for too much effort. To ensure that you will enjoy our products for a long time, there are a few helpful tips you should follow.

Linen and half-linen

Linen and half-linen

  • Linen loves to be washed.
  • Washing must not be placed in the washing machine when folded.
  • Linen wants to float: fill the washing machine with only a few items and little detergent.
  • Linen and Cotton prefer a gentle wash at 40°C on a low spin cycle.
  • Use detergent without an optic whitener, bleach additives or softener.
  • Don’t wash products made from natural fibers with watersaving-programs.
  • Linen wants to be ironed when damp.
  • Spots should be dealt with as long as they are fresh.
  • Even items such as curtains should be washed occasionally to prevent their drying out.

Cotton

  • Cotton prefers a gentle wash at 40°C on a low spin cycle.
  • Use detergent without an optic whitener, bleach additives or softener.

Terry

Terry towels & robes

  • Wash terry before first use, otherwise it wont absorb.
  • Terry loves gentle detergents without an optic whitener, bleach additives, softeners and 60°C.
  • Terry items like to be close together in the washing machine.
  • Terry does not like watersaving-programs.
  • Terry likes to dry in a dryer but not on a radiator, which makes it stiff.
  • Please do not place terry in a washing machine with clothing that has hooks or zips.
  • Please do not try to pull out any loose threads, you can simply cut them off.
